How to show the Template Palette
To show the Template Palette
Step 1
Choose Window>Plug-in Palette>Show Template Palette
Step 2
This will display the Template Palette for you to choose start working in PageMaker page:

Choose Window>Plug-in Palette>Show Picture Palette

This will show the Picture Palette that can be plugged-in to the page:
To create the Menu
Step 1
Click the New File button:
Step 2
A File Template dialog box will pop up and allow you to select the Menu in the category. Then click on the Create Publication button:

You can design your own Menu now:
To design the Greeting Card
Step 1
Click the New Page button as shown below:
Step 2
A Page Template dialog box will pop up. It will allow you to select the cards in the category and click on the Create Publication button to complete:

The selected Greeting Card file template will be loaded to the working page. You can design your own greeting card now in PageMaker:
To check the Spelling
Click the Spelling Check button:
This will begin the text spelling check on the PageMaker file. You will be alerted if the wrong grammar or typo error is found and correction will be advised.
To increase the Font Size
Step 1
Select the text to be increased its font size:

Click the Increase Font Size button:

To place the Picture into the Rectangle Toolbox
Step 1
Select the Rectangle toolbox:

Choose File>Place
Step 3
Select the picture and click Open:

To place the Text into the Rectangle Frame Tool

Select the Rectangle Frame tool

Go to toolbox and click on the Text tool:

Use the mouse to click on the Rectangle toolbox. Then enter the text into the text box:
To work with Polygons Frame Tool

Go to toolbox and click on the Polygon Frame tool:

You can begin to place the polygons frame inside the current working page.
To work with Ellipse Frame Tool

Go to toolbox and click on the Ellipse Frame tool:

You can begin to place the ellipse frame inside the current working page.
To work with Rectangle Frame Tool

Go to toolbox and click on the Rectangle Frame tool:

You can begin to place the rectangle frame inside the current working page and add words on it.
To work with Zoom Tool

Go to toolbox and click on the Zoom tool:

To magnify and reduce an area of page, use the left mouse key to magnify and use the right mouse key to reduce.
To work with Constrained Line Tool
Step 1
Go to toolbox and click the Constrained Line tool:

You can begin to draw the vertical and horizontal lines on the working page.
To work with Hand Tool
Step 1
Go to toolbox and click on the Hand tool:

Use the hand tool to move up/down the page.
To input the Text

Go to toolbox and click on the Text tool:

Click on the mouse key inside the publication:
This will add the text to the publication.
To use Rotate Tool

Select object to be rotated:

Click the Rotate tool in the toolbox:

Position the Starburst at a fixed point around the object.

To draw Straight Lines
Step 1
Go to toolbox click the Line tool:

Use mouse to draw the straight line:
To adjust the Rounded Corners
Step 1
Select the object to be rounded its corners:

Choose Element>Rounded Corners

Select the corners and click OK button:

To set the Polygons

Select the polygon to change its Polygon setting.

Choose Element>Polygon Setting

Adjust the number of sides on the polygon:
